If you look at the wind at surface and clouds motion at high level, there is no contradiction. They can be opposite !
Look at wind at various altitude !
BTW you imagine that Windy could fix global model data issue or satellite data issue ? All these datas are supplied by third party providers. Windy does not make forecast.
