Recently I've noticed that the airport pins on windy.com show up when you first load, but as soon as you attempt to zoom or move the map they disappear and can't be made to return. I've tried several different browsers, different laptops etc. all to no avail.
See below for a gif of the problem I'm describing. Note that at the start two airports are visible: NZTI and NZDN. After zooming the map however, they're gone forever. Changing the map mode to something else and back to "airports" doesn't help either.
