@rdo118 @suty This issue seems to vary for model run to model run. When the 12Z EC run dropped in it seemed to be OK but when the 06Z run comes in it seems to cause issues. So we look forward to the next update. Thank you Windy team!

Thank you. Current time is 1922GMT/UTC Thursday 30th July. There are still differences in single model winds and the wind comparison.

Here are the EC winds for Cairns with gusts to 28 knots at 03Z

But in the wind comparison, gusts to 28knots start at 10Z.

Since the new version of Windy, there seems to be discrepancies between the wind/wind gusts in individual models and those show in the wind compare view,

For example in Denpasar looking at the EC winds only in Meteogram mode the winds gust to 22 knots at 06Z, 07Z, 08Z, 09Z, 10Z and 11Z.

However in the wind comparison view

The wind gusts to 22 knots in the 09Z, 10Z, 11Z, 12Z, 13Z, 14Z - so there is a 3 hour displacement of the wind gusts.

The same is the case for the GFS - gusts to 12 knots at 10Z, 12Z, 14Z, 15Z, in meteogram view

But 13Z, 15Z, 17Z, 18Z in the wind comparison

Please can you look into this?

@Suty Hi there, unfortunately the issue of switching from meteogram view to basic view each time you change location was not fixed in the latest update. Is it possible to have this looked at again please?

The Fiji radar is not displaying the correct data. This was at 20Z 15th Aug 2025 on Windy.

This was the image on the Fiji Met Website at the same time.

Please can this be looked in to?

@Suty Hi, thanks for your reply. Prior to the last update it would stay on either basic or meteogram when you searched different places. Now it always go back to the basic view. So probably about 3 weeks ago.

This would be great if it stayed in the Meteogram view please (or which other one you select)

In previous versions of Windy, if Meteogram view was selected as shown below, it would remain in meteogram when a new location was searched for in the top left.

Now, the display changes to the basic view when you search for a new location.

Would it please be possible to revert back to it staying in Meteogram view when moving from place to place using the search function?

@Suty Thanks for investigating. Have you been able to work out the issue?

I've also noticed that the ECWMF runs are coming in much later than they did previously. The 18Z ECMWF run for instance was always in by about 0140Z, though is coming in much later since the update. Is there a reason for this delay in receiving the new ECMWF runs. Thank you.

@Filip_K Thanks for that. It's just that sounding has the lowest level of 1000hPa so it missed some of the lower layers of the atmosphere compared to the radiosonde plug in.
