@Tsei28 Hello, these are different kinds of alerts - the ones you see on your homepage are official weather warnings declared by your local hydrometeorological agency, and most likely they will refer to a broader time window. While on the other hand, the Live Alerts for Storms and Heavy Rain are based on real-time weather events near you - in case you have allowed Windy to track your location, you will be notified about the Storm hitting in your area and Heavy Rain based on your location and local radar - you will receive notification without the need of opening Windy directly. I also think this suggestion is very reasonable, especially if there is an option in the settings for users to actively turn on or off the automatic update feature. That way, those who want to track new data will save time, while those who don't need it will still be comfortable.

@przemo1986 Yes, we have set some triggers that are mainly about the heavy rain, or when the rain is getting stronger.

@Suty Radar data in the states is also 12 min lagging behind/delayed too. Shows a heavy storm 1 min ago and that radar storm is well past. Also possibly try to clean up a little of the virga on the radar. Btw who does the radar? its pretty good otherwise. Thanks.
