BUG: Windy Radar Widget Setting Broken
Transparent no longer works for the Windy Radar Widget. Even though it is selected in the setting, the widget ignores the selection and displays Dark, Bright and Transparent the same. This happened in the Windy Beta software update last year (December 2022 I believe). At the time, I uninstalled the Beta, went to the production version, and Transparent worked for the Windy Radar Widget. When I downloaded the Windy app version 37.2.6 (Jan 31, 2023) Android update yesterday, the Transparent option for the widget was broken. I also tested the Windy Detail Widget, Transparent selection, and it worked as did the Windy Days Forecast Widget Transparent selection. From what I can find, it appears that only the Windy Radar Widget is the only widget that is broken/impacted. My device is a Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 Android v13, One UI v5.0. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

RE: Hurricane feature
@idefix37 Thank you for the reply. The problem is I have to drag and constantly resize the map to be able to read the data associated with the track of a particular hurricane. If there are several hurricanes, it's hard to see the actual hurricane because it is often under the left hurricane tracker panel. The Hurricane Tracker located on the left, overshadows/overrides the map data.
@Sean-Dodd basically is saying the same thing in another thread. Essentially, the left info panel is too big and needs to either toggle on/off without removing the tracking information on the map, or allow the user to resize/reduce the hurricane tracker on the left. Here's the link to @Sean-Dodd comments.

RE: BUG: Windy Radar Widget Setting Broken
@Ondřej-Šutera Thank you for the reply. I respectfully disagree with your assessment and reason to remove transparent mode "since the difference between those visuals was almost negligible". Specifically, users that prefer dark mode on their phones, and dark home screens, or have a light sensitivity disability take exception to the comment that the visuals are "almost negligible". The Windy Radar Widget Dark or Bright on a dark background is an annoying blinding bright light in the middle of the user's screen and is uncomfortable to look at especially in low light. I have provided a few screen shots demonstrating the significant, not negligible, differences in the appearance of the Windy Radar Widget on my phone or anyone who prefers a darker, easier on the eyes viewing mode of the Windy Radar Widget. I would also respectfully advise Windy developers to consider people that feel their light sensitivity is a disability and the decision to remove the transparent viewing mode of the Windy Radar Widget as a dismissal of their needs. Please restore transparency viewing mode to the Windy Radar Widget and while you're at it, I would also recommend offering dark mode for the Weather Radar in the app. Thank you for your help and consideration.

RE: BUG: Windy Radar Widget Setting Broken
@Korina on Feb 6th you indicated that transparent will be added back to the Windy radar widget in an upcoming software update. I received at least one Windy Android update if not two, and the last update on March 15 2023 (version 38.1.4), has not fixed/restored the widget to use transparent. Please provide guidance on when transparent works again in the widget. Thank you.

@idefix37 Thank you for the input and reporting it. Both of the devices I mentioned are Android smartphones. Hopefully, the next app update will include a fix.

RE: Hurricane feature
@idefix37 I'm not using a tablet. In my original posting I indicated I was using a Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. It also has has Android 12L which means the OS and apps should be optimized for use on the larger screens. Given what is happening to Windy Hurricane Tracker, I would have to assume that Windy has not been optimized for use on 12L at this time. Interestingly enough, when I use the Hurricane Tracker on my Surface Duo 2, the tracker is at the bottom as you described. The Surface Duo 2 is using Android 11.

RE: Hurricane feature
Possible bug. When viewing the Hurricane Tracker information/details on the left margin I can see only a partial view of the cone of probability on the map to the left, however, when I click on the red X to collapse the menu to see the full cone, the cone, tracking on the map disappears. This happens when viewing Windy Hurricane tracker in my laptop browser as well as on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. There should be a way to maintain the visibility with a setting.
