@Suty Windy’s temp was 15 deg off from other apps. Currently it’s showing 3 deg off, which is acceptable. Why would it have been so far off?

RE: Widget on iPhone not showing temp close to other weather sources
@twebb101 said in Widget on iPhone not showing temp close to other weather sources:
I have 4 different weather apps on my iPhone, and usually they are all fairly close to each other in the current temperature. However, lately, the Windy widget is way off from the others. Currently (12/31/24, 11:02 PM MST), Windy shows 10 deg F, the other app shows 26 deg F.
Further testing determined it was the forecast model. I changed it and now the temp is showing within a couple of degrees of other apps. However, when I open the app, the forecast model changes back to the ECMWF model and the temp is wrong again. If I click on the home button, the top bar comes up wrong, but when I click on the top bar to open the extended forecast, it shows correctly. How do i get the correct model to stay as default? Why the discrepancies?

Location labeled wrong…?
Hello, when searching for my location, or using gps, it shows up as Hatch, Clinton. That doesn’t exist…it should be Clinton, Utah. What’s happening?

iPhone widget not updating location
When viewing the widget on my iPhone, it always shows the last location that I was looking at while in the full app. I have the app set for ‘current location’ when I open it, but the widget doesn’t follow that setting. I have to open the app and get my current location, then the widget will show my current/correct location.
