I've been using the Airgram on Windy for over a year now as my main source of weather forecasting in southern Argentina, especially for mountaineering and drone work. It's been really helpful to see wind speed data, but now it’s a hassle to switch back and forth between the Airgram and Meteogram. I don’t want to update the app on my phone and lose the ability to see wind speed and precipitation/cloud cover at the same time. Is there any way to continue using version 45 on desktop? It's a real bummer that this change was made. and one suggestion to make the airgram the ultimate weather model, would be to add cloud cover percentages at the bottom like windguru does and not just show a visual representation of a cloud for high med and low. I just wanted to reach out and share how much the Airgram feature means to the climbing community around the world. It’s one of the most useful weather models for climbers because it shows wind speeds at different altitudes. This is especially important when climbing, as wind conditions can change drastically between lower and higher altitudes.

What really set this model apart was the ability to see both cloud cover and precipitation at the bottom of the Airgram. This combination made it incredibly valuable, as it allowed climbers to get all the information they needed in one place. Without this feature, Windy is less appealing, especially considering the premium subscription. If it’s possible, I’d really appreciate it if you could bring this feature back.

Also, I had a couple of suggestions that could make the Airgram even better. The scale on the left, which currently uses altitude in hectopascals (I believe), would be more user-friendly if it were converted into meters. Most people would find it easier to understand, and it would save the trouble of converting the units themselves.

Another suggestion is related to the cloud cover display. Instead of the cloud icons, it would be incredibly helpful to show cloud percentages—something like low, medium, and high cloud cover, similar to how WinGuru does it. This would make it much easier for climbers to understand the cloud conditions without relying on an icon that can be a bit ambiguous.

Again, I just want to thank you for creating such an invaluable tool. As a photographer, Airgram is a game-changer for planning shoots in the mountains, and I’m a huge fan of what you do.
