I followed the instructions in https://community.windy.com/topic/39499/no-favorites-shown-in-the-maps to turn on favorites display in the browser & app.
It seems the update turned them off or reset things to defaults.

I'm on IOS.
After the recent update, favorites disappeared from the map in my laptop's browser, but were still there in the phone app's map.
After logging out on both devices and logging back in, the maps are synced.
BUT, I now have no favorite places shown on either map. N.B., the favorites list still exists.
In case it was a caching issue, I have cleared caches in my laptop browsers (Safari & Firefox), deleted & reinstalled the iPhone app.
These actions had no effect. Windy maps still don't show favorites.
I hope this will be fixed soon, as I made frequent use of the little hearts on the map to bring up the relevant forecasts, without having to resort to the list.
