      would be nice for the windy app to be on the Garmin Instinct 2 and not just the brand new 3...... would it be hard to be able to have it on the 2 as well?

    • Customizable Basic Forecast /current conditions

      Came across this post:
      https://community.windy.com/post/215922

      honestly i couldn't agree more with what he is saying, at least with the customizable portion. It would be nice to be able for people to be able to select which layers they want shown in their forecast because everyone wants to see something different. Also to be able to default to a certain model would be nice. Honestly I'd rather the customizable on mobile more than desktop since that's what I use 90% of the time.

      the "feels like" is a valuable reference for everyday life. In my opinion the "feels like" should be based on dewpoint in the summer and wind in the winter. Everyone know that dewpoint is going to change how heat feels in the summer (sticky vs dry) and wind plays a HUGE factor in the cold. I mean every local weather station is saying the temp is "#" but with the wind it's going to FEEL like "#" for instance just a few days ago the news was saying it's going to feel like -25F so bundle up and limit skin exposure.

    • Snow depth and new snow layers

      i don't know how the new snow and snow depth layers work, but they don't..... or at least not very well.

      i just looked at the snow depth layer for where i live at it says only 2" and new snow only 0.1" which is not correct! yesterday i got over 12" of snow

    • RE: Dew point

      @idefix37
      my whole point is showing dewpoint on the basic or i could get on board with relative humidity since that seems to be a standard in every single weather report you look at, no matter if that's your local news, weather.com, accuweather ect... and is more relatable to people who don't understand dewpoint.

      then personally i'd like the option of having the meteogram show on start up instead of the basic

    • RE: Dew point

      @Wheats good to know about the future stuff.

      don't know where your at but... visit the Midwest or Alabama in July when it's 90 degrees with a dewpoint of 75 degrees, then go to Arizona when it's 105 with a dewpoint of 51..... then come back and tell me which is more unbearable.... so my previous example may not have been accurate to my point but this one is.... the 90 degrees and 75 dewpoint is WAY worse then 105 and dewpoint of 51.... dry heat vs wet heat....

    • RE: Dew point

      @idefix37

      humidity would be ok, but it doesn't give the true picture of what it feels like outside.... a dewpoint of 70 and 50% humidity is much different than a dewpoint of 50 and 90% humidity, which is why i want to see the dewpoint

      @idefix37

      that's great and i know about the layers, but honestly it's a pain to change layers and why isn't it shown in the basic, where everyone looks..... i never look in the Meteogram
