Are there any plans in the future to add the radar and satellite images to the 3D globe option like the models are?
Furthermore are the also any plans to introduce the 3D globe format to the mobile apps?

I'm not sure what product Windy uses for visible satellite but it has a yellow tint and there are better options from competitors.
So my suggestion would be for windy to use a more natural colour type. Here's an example below of what I mean. These images were taken about 5 minutes ago.
Here's Windys image of North America
Here's Zoom Earths image from the same time
To me it's much clearer and the colours more natural looking. It would be good if Windy could get theirs to the same level of clarity or maybe have the option for both versions if some people prefer the yellowish version.

Hi would it be possible to have the smoothing as optional so we could view the raw data if we wanted a higher definition view of precipitation? I find although it looks nice the Windy smoothing is a little overdone. Radar Omega for example has a smoothing scale which would be the best option if possible. From no smoothing to pretty much what we've got at the moment.

Would it be possible to have precip typing to separate rain/sleet/snow etc. A few other global radar apps have this option.

Whilst the playback speed for 1 hour is fine when you extend this to the longer options the amount of time of the animation in the slowest setting is the same, meaning it plays 12 times faster when selecting 12 hours.
Can this be changed so the speed is in a frames per second format which would then bring all the options in line instead of them getting crammed into the current way where the duration just seems to be a certain period of time for all frames.

Got to agree with this. Temperature in particular. I use one for surface temp and one for 850hPa. It would be good if we could save them to avoid having to refer to saved text documents.
Hi every now and again there seems to be rendering problems with the UK radar.
Right now a thunderstorm complex is moving Northwest. A strange right hand angle has developed where reflectivity isn't being displayed properly as shown by the white line here
Another app displays the precip area correctly as shown here
Tim
I've found your best exporting it into a text document. Do the editing in the text document then importing it back in.
@TIV-3 no this is a rendering issue hence posting the same storm viewed with another app that didn't have the issue and displayed the storm correctly.
Would it be possible to have a seperate color table for dew point added as currently it shares the normal temperature one.

@gkr1959 it is a conspiracy theory. How about not starting with that website. Do you know why? It's main documentary opens at a rate of 1 lie every 5.5 seconds!
The only people that ever tell others to "do their research" is that of people with no higher scientific qualifications who simply don't understand anything therefore are prone to believing false information.
You have been told very clearly it's a conspiracy theory. So please pack it in, if you're unable to do that go elsewhere and find a conspiracy Facebook page etc and spout the nonsense on there instead.
Why Dew point is moisture content. I have mine displayed like this, using temperature makes no sense.
Again radar+ was useful having a different scale to cut out virga that looked a mess when overlayed with satellite

Hi
I noticed a couple of weeks ago the dew point colour table option disappeared from the desktop version. Now the radar+ colour table has gone. Both these are still visible on the Android version so I assume some sort of bug/mistake has happened?

Yeah got to agree they should be customisable as sometimes they're very difficult to make out
I disagree, I think it's too light. I think this is simply personal preference than any display error.
I do think though that it would be good for multiple options for map backgrounds, eg Radar Omega has 11 options to choose from.
@WeatherMan10 I know they have plans for it. Hopefully sometime this year maybe?
They've never made the data public not even to purchase. I wish they would though!
The precip type data is available however.

I'm more thinking of about using it as a hands free option when driving whilst storm chasing. Having to press buttons at exact times is no good for me.
It was a problem that occurred last year. I was chasing a storm, probably looked at the last few frames. About 15 minutes later the sky looked nothing like the radar presentation but that was because it was stuck on some past frame and not at the latest.
The long and the short of it is many people would find it useful to disable the future forecast when not required.
I think the problem is when you want to look at the past just a few frames without playing the whole sequence it's difficult to get back to the latest frame. I've just tried it now on Android, tired to go to the latest frame at it said "0 minutes ago" which of course you'd assume is the latest but of course it actually wasn't. You basically have to close the app down and then reopen it to know you're really at the latest frame again which is a bit annoying.
Perhaps if Windy are determined to keep it without having the option to turn off there could be a latest frame button so you definitely know you're back at the beginning?
