Hey I had previously commented about switching the Mumbai radar feed to the new Veravali radar of the Indian Meteorological Department. Which you guys seem to have noticed and made happen. Kudos! But it seems the feed isn't properly calibrated. Past 2-3 days the rainfall totals here have been well above 400mm and a good reliable radar service could be a big boon for the users in this region.
I request you to please look into the issue and get it fixed.
Thanks.
Cheers!

RE: Mumbai Radar calibration
@Korina The monsoon season over India has almost ended & this whole season the Mumbai radar feed on Windy has been non-existent inspite your past assurances. I request you to ad this IMD radar feed to your platform : https://mausam.imd.gov.in/imd_latest/contents/index_radar.php?id=Mumbai

RE: Use the newly installed Veravali DWR as the primary one
@korina Case in point, the current downtime of my aforementioned radar goes to show how unreliable its been over the past few years. According to local news its unlikely to be back online for the next month at least.
I request you to look into my suggestion so as to fix the gap in radar coverage left by the out of service IMD Mumbai radar by using the IMD Veravali feed as a substitute. Thanks,
Regards.

Use the newly installed Veravali DWR as the primary one
Please use the newly installed Veravali radar for Windy's radar feed around Mumbai since it has better resolution, higher scan frequency. Older radar that Windy currently uses has a very high time interval of updating which makes it very unhelpful for tracking rainfall in the region.
