I am just edging Super Typhoon Bolaven on a ship and I would say JMA is the place. Also would be super cool to be able to use the plan and distance tool with that model when in Japan

RE: Crossing the International Date Line by Ship
Thanks for showing me the previous thread about this topic, I see you have been dealing with this since 2019 and there is no real fix to it. Yes we can definitely split the route into two; all though not the same has having all the info in one route and seeing the whole route progress.
But once again thanks for sharing and if you get a fix for it let us know.
Thanks for the swift reply

Crossing the International Date Line by Ship
I love the Windy app, I am mariner on a ship and Windy route planning in boat mode is a really helpful tool.
The one problem that I have encounter recently is the track not being able to be shown in its entirety due to crossing the International Date Line. It will either show me the track that is to the East of the Line or to the west, but not across.
Also when I import the routes from my Nav-planner it wont accept to go across the International Date Line; it will instead go all over the world and connect on the other side rather than through the International Date line.
Is there a work around it?

Ships to be able to report weather from their positions?
Is there a way for a ship to be able to report weather data to windy and windy to be able to display it?
