This question was posted some time ago, but there has been no answer. Is there a way to do this? I have favs that are GPS coordinates and it would be useful to associate a place name.

    • RE: Share your webcam with Windy.com!

I've posted several public webcams located here in New Mexico. They have disappeared from Windy. Is there some criteria I've missed? Are you only allowing the entry of cams by the owner?

      Thank you,
      Bill

    • Adding webcams

Over the course of the last year I submitted 3-5 webcams around New Mexico. There are not many in this state, so when I find one in a location that appears to be good for visually observing weather or road conditions, I submit it for inclusion on the site. Several of the cams I submitted were implemented, but now they no longer show up on the map. The process of adding a cam is not quick, so if there is some way to know in advance if it will be accepted, it would save everyone time.

    • RE: Windy launches Satellite layer

I'm probably missing some option to do this. On my display the satellite layer seems to blend in with the background.so it's difficult to see the edge of the clouds and areas that are clear. Is there a way to reduce the transparency or remove the background layer (e.g. highway map and city tags) so the cloud layer is more apparent?
