@idefix37 Yes, that's exactly it. In our weather reports, we (only) use coordinates in decimal degrees.

Tropical cyclone track map produced by RSMC La Réunion ?
Hello,
I've been worrking at the RSMC (Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre) on Reunion Island.
When monitoring tropical and subtropical low-pressure systems, our team produces specific bulletins and, above all, a track map showing the different stages expected over the next 5 days.
At present, you can view the trajectories produced by various centers. I'd like you to include trajectory maps from our operational center. Would this be of interest to you? Would this be feasible by the next hurricane season for the South-West Indian Ocean basin? What data would you need and in what formats?
Thank you for considering this request, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Ludovic

How to change the coordinate system ?
Hello,
I would like to have the geographic coordinates in decimal degree format. From what I've seen, we can't change the format (only DMS format is available). Is this an evolution planned for future updates?
Thank you

RE: Is there an ensemble
@idefix37 At a time when competitors are presenting innovative products based on global forecasting, it would be a shame to miss out. The idea of an ensemble forecasting module (EPS, GEFS at the very least) would be a real plus for Windy.

RE: Comparing observations and forecasts models
@idefix37 I've just found the trick but this applies to a single measurement point, not to a vast geographical area. For example, when I want to know whether a given model's run is good or not over a vast area of thunderstorm convection. Thanks in any case for showing me the trick!

RE: Comparing observations and forecasts models
@idefix37 that's exactly what I want, but I don't have that option. Take a look at this

Comparing observations and forecasts models
It would be interesting to have access to the last two or even three runs of a given model in order to choose the one that is closest to the observations (radar image, satellite images, observed wind, etc.).
Is this planned for future versions?Thank you very much,
Ludovic

RE: Arome model for Indian Ocean ?
@Suty I wanted to thank you for adding the AROME model for the Indian Ocean. That's great, thank you.

Geographical position
Hello !
On the Windy iPhone application, I can't get the geographical position under the pointer. Is there a special setting I need to make?
Thanks you

RE: Arome model for Indian Ocean ?
Santa Claus is long gone. I searched high and low under the tree, but there was not the slightest trace of the AROME model. Perhaps you're planning to deliver the AROME model for Epiphany (the galette des rois) ;-))
It would be great !!

Observed RS and forecast RS superimposed
Some time ago, it was possible to superimpose a model radiosonde (IFS / GFS) on an observed radiosonde. This very practical procedure enabled us to gauge how well the models were aligned with the vertical. I can't do it again. Is it still possible? Could you please help me? Thank you

RE: Arome model for Indian Ocean ?
@TZ Thank you, it would be absolutely great to have this model. I belong to the french Tropical Cyclone Forecaster (RSMC La Réunion). Having this model (very accurate !) would mean a lot to the countries of the zone. Maybe Christmas before its time ?

When will we have access to the AROME model for the South-West Indian Ocean?
Hello I have been working in the Indian Ocean as a weather forecaster.
Over the south-western Indian Ocean, we use the French AROME model (2.5 km grid) on a daily basis. This is an open model for companies like Windy, and I'm surprised not to find it on the models proposed by Windy. Is this normal ? and if not, why this choice not to take into account a model of choice such as this one? I have to go to Météociel to access AROME data from home. It's a bit annoying, especially as I have a PREMIUM account with Windy.
Thanks for your help.

RE: palette de couleur inaccessible
@idefix37

Hello,
I tried to modify the color palette for the wind parameter.
Unfortunately, an error occurred during the manipulation, and I can no longer restore the default colors.
What procedure should I follow to get the original colors back?Thank you for your feedback.

RE: windy-plugin-radiosonde
@rittels Thank you for this great job !
Could you please explain what is exactly the "THRM Top" please ?
