Thank you jmh2002 for pointing out the sun-position-plugin. But what I meant was, where was "the noon-time sun" on the map below? At that moment? e.g. It was noon time in India when it was 11 PM in Los Angeles... I hope the map could have shown the Sun location in India for that moment?

Does any one know how can I spot the sun location on the big map? Not the sun position on the sky from my location, please.

Does any one know if there is such a layer that would add the Sun location on the map at the viewing time? That would be very helpful when show temperature on the map.
