Hi @woodsong, thanks for letting us know. We checked everything and Drive BC completely changed its website and API, which caused the cameras from Windy to disappear. However, we are already working on it and will hopefully add them back soon. You also mentioned other Canadian cameras that are not on the map. Could you give us some examples, even though it will probably be quite difficult since you can't see them in Windy now? We will look into them as well. Thank you!

If anyone else experiences this, please add your cameras (with coordinates) to this thread and we’ll update them one by one.

Hi Michael, @Malexx79, thanks for your patience. Webcam approvals on Windy are handled manually by our administrators, so each submission goes through a review process. While it usually takes up to two business days, when a larger number of newly submitted webcams accumulates, the approval time can be longer. I’ve now reviewed and approved your webcam. It should appear on the map within the next few hours, and you should also receive a confirmation email shortly. KR, Marketa

Hi @ColdCoreStorm, thanks for your message and for your interest in adding your camera. At the moment, we unfortunately do not support YouTube cameras. Our system is not able to reliably handle them, mainly because the stream URL often changes (tokens get updated), which causes the stream to stop working on our side. That said, it doesn’t mean we are not interested in supporting them in the future. Our developers are already working on a possible solution, and in the meantime, we are keeping these submissions in our system. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Hi @espenas , the inability to add the exact location of cameras is a bug we're aware of, and it should be fixed in the next update. If you send me the camera's identifier (e.g., the URL you enter for it) and the exact latitude and longitude, I'll update the information in the system. You can do it either here, or use mail webcams@windy.com. Thank you!

Hi @post-v1-2bc94710-eef8-4660-867a-b59f2a15e319, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to process cameras from YouTube. Our developers are working on it, but since it’s a fairly complex process, it will take some time. Thank you very much for wanting to add a camera to Windy, and we hope that this will soon be possible for YouTube as well.

Update: The fix is already in production, and cameras from Drive BC are gradually starting to appear. There are still some issues with some of them, but we hope to resolve them soon.
