      @wstrong-0 Rough estimate I use. Take a look at the 700mb wind, it'll give you a speed/hr. On Windy you can measure distance using the distance and planning tool...then do math.

      @wstrong-0 I don’t know what kind of storm you mean. Let’s take a thunderstorm prediction. If your location is Atlanta, you can measure the distance between the thunderstorm and this location with the Distance & planning tool. Click the right button of your mouse on desktop or long press on screen of mobile device. [image: 1616956489621-ff16b902-736a-4ea1-bcd7-bcc189dc0188.jpeg] In this example the distance is 319km. Moving the time slider you see that the storm will hit Atlanta 17 hours later. Easy to calculate the displacement speed
