@wuindigino This correspondence is not so bad as it is based on the same scale as this one from the NOAA https://www.noaa.gov/jetstream/reflectivity But you may observe no rain in case of virga, precipitation that does not reach the ground due to evaporation. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virga
