I guess we are not on the same boat 😉:

I‘d like to check the weather Radar with a specific overlay for that location. And as there is no marker … I maybe can remember the position. But as soon as I am zooming into the map I am lost as there is no marker 😉

Maybe my words are a mit misleading:
Let’s make an example and chose a place where you are not, say New York e.g.

The forecast is shown in the window below and you shut it with the „x“ in the upper right side.

In this this moment the pulsing circle which symbolizes NY on the map dissppears as well.

But this Shows the quantity of rain and not the chance of rain.
