    • Forecast with weather fronts

When I am looking at most forecasts, I usually see the frontal boundaries and where the fronts will be in 3 days. For example, when a low is moving across the country, one can see where the front is now and where the front will be in 3 days.

What is frustrating on local news stations is that the stations run the segments so fast that one has to sit and wait if one is distracted and misses something.

I would like to see Windy add a layer or setting that would allow one to see the fronts where the fronts are now and in the future.

Am I missing this feature? Yes, I can see the front in the satellite layer.

It would be nice to see the fronts, for example, in the rain and thunder layer while running the ECMWF and the GFS models.

    • RE: Understanding the Compare Forecast Feature in Windy.com

I use the ECMWF for long range, then the GFS for 3 days out. For a daily look a head is use the HRRR. I do like how all the models are in one place on windy.

    • Suggestion, Hurricane Hunter Plots

Just a suggestion, how about a plug-in for the hurricane hunters as they are flying into the storms?
