Thanks for the reply, we rely on it for our fruit orchards.

RE: No radar coverage on lower east side of Gulf of Thailand
@hangInThere I will keep an eye on it and check the TMD site when necessary. Water supply when needed, having 3 durian orchards on different locations ... sometimes it rains at one and not at the 2 other etc.

RE: No radar coverage on lower east side of Gulf of Thailand
@Ondřej-Šutera Thanks for the attention and picking up the issue. Checking the Windy site, I remarked that the radius of the Sattahip radar loop has been extended to the 250 km range as before, thanks.

Agree with you, it is always something, the data provider, the ThaiMeteoDept with ´changing radar radius’s’ etc. We also like to rely on quality service fou our Durian orchards!

Sattahip meteo radar has reduced radius again
Hi,
The radius of the radar detector of Sattahip in Thailand is reduced again.
A 100 km range instead of the 250 kmThe url of the Thai Meteorological Department i.e. Sattahip rain radar loop is: https://weather.tmd.go.th/satLoop.php
Hope you can integrate it to fill in a blind spot on the map.https://community.windy.com/assets/uploads/files/1692063110496-sattahip-loop.jpg.png
Kind regards,

@pescados Hi there, we have never had the source of data for this location, however, if you know about any source for Madeira radar, we would appreciate sharing it with us, so we can consider that and potentially add it to Windy.
If you know about anything, please let us know.

RE: Thailand: Range Sattahip radar reduced
OK, no other available source that covers the area? Like to see some coverage for our Durian plantations!!!!! Certainly now with the El Niño kicking in.

RE: Windy is little use without radar
@Colin-in-BKK. Thanks for the tip for the Clime - NOAA app. It has its differences with Windy but it shows actual data. The source of the instability of Thai coverage with Windy has been questionable for some time. Let's see how the stability and accuracy of both apps evolve for the coverage of Thailand.

Hi Onderej, a fresh example of the missing rain radar over Thailand.
